All Adults are screened for Genetic Eye Defects and Luxating Patellas prior to their first breeding.
- All of our puppies are eligible for AKC Registration. All paperwork will be provided at the time of sale.
- We believe in quality versus quantity, so we only breed when we as a family determine we have the time to properly care for, socialize, and place a litter.
- All puppies are born and raised in our home, under-foot with the help or our three kiddos, as this allows the pups to become accustomed to the hustle-and-bustle of life in a busy household.
- All puppies receive neurological stimulation exercises from day three until day sixteen, as outlined by Dr. Carmen Battaglia.
- All puppies receive individual attention and handling, as well as group play on a daily basis. Weather permitting the puppies will have supervised daily playtime outdoors, beginning at five weeks of age.
- All puppies are wormed with Pyrantel (Strongid) at 2, 4, and 6 weeks of age. They also will receive their first vaccinations (No Lepto) at 5 and 7 weeks of age, and their first Interceptor (Heartworm Preventative) at 8 weeks of age.

- Avatar Puppies may be reserved with a $100 deposit once the litter has arrived. ALL Refunds are handled on an individual basis. Please contact us prior to sending a deposit on a particular puppy.
- All puppies are sold with limited registration and a written spay or neuter contract, unless prior arrangements have been made.
- We offer a $25 rebate upon receipt of proof from your Veterinarian that your puppy has been spayed or neutered.
- All puppies go to their new homes with their Health Records, a favorite toy, a Pro Plan Puppy Packet, a Written Health Contract, and a Sample of Purina Pro Plan Puppy Food.
- Avatar Dachshunds will take ANY dog we have bred back at ANY time, ANY age, and for ANY reason; however, a refund will NOT be issued.
- The happiness and well-being of our puppies in their new home is our number one concern, so we carefully screen our buyers to assure our puppies are properly matched to the lifestyle and personality of the prospective buyers.
- As the breeder, we reserve the right to REFUSE the sale of ANY of our puppies/dogs to ANY individual/family, at ANY time, and for ANY reason.
